Who May Submit a Nomination: Anyone may submit a nomination in any category.
Employees, bankers, attorneys, public relations managers are excellent sources
for nominations. Self-nominations are encouraged.
Eligibility: Company must be headquartered in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa,
San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Sonoma or Solano counties.
How are finalists and winners selected? Nominations will be screened and sorted into
award categories by staff. An independent Selection Panel, made up of business and
academic leaders, will choose finalists and winners. Finalists will be announced in
April and winners will be announced at the CFO Awards dinner on May 28, 2009.

Awarded to CFO who has made an outstanding contribution to his/her
company’s performance as well as to the greater Bay Area business
community over the past year for:
- Public Company with revenues above $500MM
- Public Company with revenues up to $500MM
- Non-Public Company
- Venture-Backed Company
- Community Service
- Transformation Agent
